HUF is a skater brand created by a skater for skaters. Driven by various influences, streetwear, skateboarding, and sneaker fashion, the brand was founded in the early 2000s by skater Keith Hufnagel in California. Keith, originally from New York, has been skateboarding since his very young years in the 80s in a city where the culture and practice of skateboarding was hardly accepted and generally associated with punk rock and Hip Hop culture. It is in this environment that Keith found his first thrills. He continued to pursue his passion even more intensely in San Francisco when he moved there in 1992, eventually becoming a pro skater. After a world tour, he returned to San Francisco with the idea of opening his own skate shop. With skateboarding in his blood, he did not see this sport as a mere hobby but as a true way of life that brings together skaters, artists, performers, musicians, photographers, and other enthusiasts of diverse cultures and social backgrounds. It is with this vision that he opened his shop. A new kind of concept, it brought together in one place all the most respected skateboard, streetwear, and sneaker brands. With the success of the shop, Keith Hufnagel quickly decided to launch his own clothing line directly inspired by his skate, street, and sneaker influences. It would be HUF, the name of his shop and his nickname in the scene.

The primary characteristic of HUF is to offer quality products primarily designed for skateboarding, using materials resistant to all stunts. All products are also tested before launch by the skaters themselves. But it is also a vintage design "inspired by the past and the present to create the future" with New York and Californian influences. A good mix of styles.

Respected in the fashion and skate community, the brand also embarks on great collaborations with other major brands like Vans or Nike, or even Snoop Dogg in a different style.

Sophistication and nonchalance are the creator's words to describe the HUF spirit. A spirit that is expressed in pants, wide shorts, patterned t-shirts, hoodies, bags, and skateboards, as well as many models of socks and caps, all stamped with the HUF logo.

To keep its core and authentic spirit, the brand carefully manages its distribution and you cannot find it everywhere. Hawaiisurf is one of the few retailers in the Paris region where you can find a wide selection in-store or on our online site of HUF t-shirts, HUF jackets, and especially the essential HUF caps, sturdy and super stylish, as well as the Huf skate shoes collection.
